  • Canad Inns

    Canad Inns is a chain of hotels headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. The company operates nine hotel properties in the province of Manitoba and one in the U.S. state of North Dakota. In 2004, Canad Inns was named one of "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies". The chain employs 2,500 people and is the 14th largest hotel chain in Canada and the largest in Manitoba.

  • Coast Hotels & Resorts

    Coast Hotels & Resorts is a hotel chain in western North America with over 40 hotels and resorts in the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and The Northwest Territories.

    Coast Hotels and Resorts range from suburban and airport properties such as those in greater Vancouver; Edmonton, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta; Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon to resort-designated properties such as: The Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel in Osoyoos, British Columbia; The Coast Sundance Lodge in Sun Peaks, British Columbia; The Coast Pyramid Lake (Alberta) Resort in Jasper, Alberta; the Hillcrest Hotel, a Coast Resort in Revelstoke, British Columbia and the Maui Coast Hotel in Maui, Hawaii.

    They have corporate offices in Vancouver and Seattle. They also manage two hotels that do not carry the Coast Hotels & Resorts Brand; The Campus Tower Suite Hotel at the University of Alberta, and The Tekkara Lodge in Jasper, Alberta.

    Delta Hotels is a chain of 41 hotels and resorts across Canada. On October 2, 2007, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation announced that it had acquired Delta Hotels. The hotel chain was formerly a 100% holding of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. It is owned by Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment Trust.

    It was founded in 1962 in Richmond, British Columbia with a single 62-room motor inn and has become one of Canada's leading first-class hotel management companies. It currently has a staff of 7,000 employees. It currently houses its global reservation service in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

  • Fairmont Hotels & Resorts

    Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is a Toronto, Ontario -based operator of luxury hotels and resorts. Currently, Fairmont operates properties in 15 countries including Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bermuda, Barbados, United Kingdom, Monaco, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore.

    Fairmont is known in Canada for its famous historic hotels and resorts such as the Empress Hotel (Victoria) and Hotel Vancouver in British Columbia, the Royal York in Toronto, Banff Springs in Alberta and Château Frontenac in Quebec. Many of these hotels were originally built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As such, they were operated by Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resorts until CP Hotels purchased Fairmont in 1999 and changed its name to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. The name change reflected the new international focus of the company.

    Four Seasons Hotels, Inc. is a five-star Canadian-based international luxury hotel chain. It is considered among the finest luxury hotels worldwide, according to Travel + Leisure magazine and Zagat Survey, and operates 78 hotels in 32 countries including 22 AAA Five-Diamond properties.

  • Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment Trust

    Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT).

    It was established in 1997 and is owner of 24 hotel and resort properties most of which are located in Canada, but it also has a couple in the US. Its hotels operate under the Fairmont and Delta names.

    It has a 24% stake in Fairmont, the rest held by Colony Capital and Kingdom Holding Company. Legacy is based in Toronto, Ontario.

  • Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc.

    Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. (RCR) is the largest private ski resort owner/operator in North America, owning six ski resorts across Canada.

    The company owns Lake Louise Mountain Resort and Nakiska in Alberta as well as Fernie Alpine Resort and Kimberley Alpine Resort in British Columbia. Resorts outside the Canadian Rockies are Mont-Sainte-Anne and Stoneham Mountain Resort in Quebec.

    RCR also owns and manages a number of hotels, backcountry lodges and golf courses, including Trickle Creek Golf Resort in Kimberley, Wintergreen Golf and Country Club[2] in Bragg Creek, Skoki Backcountry Lodge, The Wolf’s Den Lodge (Fernie) and the Trickle Creek Residence Inn by Marriott (Kimberley).

  • Sandman Hotels

    Sandman Hotels, Inns & Suites is a Canadian-owned hotel chain of over 30 moderate-level hotels and resorts, mostly located in the western provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Founded by the Gaglardi family, the company is now one of Western Canada's largest hospitality-related companies. Their corporate headquarters is located in Vancouver.

    Most Sandman Hotels are in the two to three star category. Many are located along highways to serve as an overnight stop, but there are some downtown properties, such as those in Vancouver and Calgary. Two of their properties are designated as "suite" properties and feature self-catering units.

    In 2007, the company launched "Sandman Signature", a new, more upscale brand featuring modern design and decor. There are to date two "Signature" hotels, both designed as airport hotels, located near Vancouver Airport and Toronto Airport.
