Asian Television Network International Limited (often just
referred to as Asian Television Network or ATN) is a Canadian licensed
television broadcaster providing premium programming in several South Asian
languages, as well as English, to communities across Canada. ATN has programming
alliances with leading broadcasters such as Zee TV, STAR Plus, B4U, Sony
Entertainment Television Asia, Alpha ETC Punjabi, ARY Digital, and Jaya TV. It
has been broadcasting since 1997 and is a publicly traded company on the TSX

Cirque du
Soleil
Cirque du Soleil (French for "Circus of the Sun," in
English pronounced /sɜrk duː soʊˈleɪ/) is an entertainment company. Based in
Montréal, Québec, Canada and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it
was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy
Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier.
Initially named Les Échassiers, they toured Quebec in 1980 as a performing
troupe and encountered financial hardship that was relieved by a government
grant in 1983 as part of the 450th anniversary celebrations of Jacques Cartier's
discovery of Canada. Le Grand Tour du Cirque du Soleil was a success in 1984,
and after securing a second year of funding, Laliberté hired Guy Caron from the
National Circus School to re-create it as a "proper circus". No ring and no
animals helped make Cirque du Soleil the modern circus ("Cirque Nouveau"/New
Circus) that it is today.

amusement corporation in North America. The 75 year-old company operates 'fun
fairs' at various summer agricultural shows across North America. The company
has a long history in Canada, providing entertainment for generations of kids
and adults. The organization currently operates the midway services for some of
Canada's largest summer fairs including the Canadian National Exhibition in
Toronto, and the Calgary Stampede. The company owns and operates midway games,
